This summer, we’ve had you vote on who you thought were the best players in the first 100 years of Murray State Men’s Basketball. In tonight’s podcast, we continue our countdown with #14 on our list — Jonathan Stark.
Stark rewrote the Racer record book in his two seasons in Murray. It took him 48 games to score 1,000 points in a Racer uniform — tied for the fewest games in program history. His 1,408 career-points are good for 21st all-time at Murray State. No Racer scored more points in fewer games than Stark. He also has the highest scoring average of any Murray State player that spent at least two years with the program. Stark, the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, led the Racers to the NCAA Tournament that season.
